Swiss Paraplegic Center
Jato has taken out a corporate membership with the Swiss Paraplegic Center for every employee (including their families), so they are prepared for an emergency that we hope will never occur. In addition, every employee is privately insured in the event of an accident. -
Salary system
We pay above-average and fair salaries. Our salary development agreement reflects the requirements of each position and rewards individual performance. -
Modern workplaces / machinery
In March 2017, we moved into our new Jato building. It features modern and ergonomic workplaces as well as a state-of-the-art machine park. In addition, we are centrally located in Lucerne with excellent connections and easy access by public transport. Our apprentices therefore also receive a discount on their half-fare travel card. -
Fitness
Jato provides financial support for employees' sporting activities.
The company covers up to 90% of the costs, up to a maximum of CHF 500 per person per year. Employees are required to contribute a portion of the costs themselves.
Support is available for numerous sports (club or annual membership fees). -
Birthday presents
Every employee receives a personally selected gift from the managing director each year on their birthday. In addition, after the Christmas celebration, each employee is invited to take home a special gift bag. -
Employee events
To get to know each other better outside of work, Jato regularly organizes employee events, such as a New Year’s dinner, participation in the Lucerne city run, or anniversary trips to Europa-Park, among others. -
Working hours / vacation
Flexible working hours allow every employee to plan their private appointments easily. In addition, our accumulated working hours guarantee two weeks of vacation over Christmas and New Year. As an additional benefit, each year employees can choose between one extra week of vacation or a proportional salary increase (4/5 weeks up to age 50, 5/6 weeks from age 50, and 6/7 weeks from age 60). And a paid 9 o'clock break. -

Health and well-being
An apple a day… At the beginning of each week, a fruit basket is available for everyone to help themselves. Coffee and water are provided free of charge. In addition, work clothing is supplied for our production staff. -
